Truck MOT Inspections

Statutory six-monthly chain inspection has now been replaced by The Lifting Operation and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER 98). Under this regulation there is a statutory requirement for all forklift trucks to be thoroughly examined by a competent person every six months. The examination must cover the whole truck, and not just the lift chains and forks.

McLeman engineers are trained and qualified to complete these inspections and issue you with certified documentation recognised by the Heath & Safety Executive and in accordance with the Fork Truck Association guide lines.
